Pardesi began not in a factory, but at home — with passion, patience, and an unwavering belief in craftsmanship.
While running a handcrafted jutti business from home, Mihika Puthran received an unusual request: a pair of wedding sneakers. At a time when bridal footwear followed tradition, the idea of sneakers for a wedding felt bold, unfamiliar, and challenging. But for Mihika, it sparked curiosity rather than doubt.
With a single pair of sneakers, carefully sourced materials, and a craftsman’s heart, she took on the challenge. Every detail was imagined, tested, stitched, and refined by hand — blending comfort with celebration, tradition with modernity. What started as an experiment soon became something magical.
